Our terrific community 'served' yet again!
Our terrific community 'served' again!

I am here to report once again that our wonderful community is eager to help those in need. All we have to do is ask.
On Oct. 24, S.E.R.V.E. Inc. held another "Stuff the Truck" at the Giant stores in Stafford, where customers donated 4,800 pounds of food to help us feed the needy in our area. This is fantastic and appreciated so much!
We had the opportunity to offer help to some customers who spoke of their own problems. Others offered help from their organizations--either donations or food drives.
We look forward to their expressions of generosity.
Our deepest thanks go to the dedicated volunteers who stood in the rain and spoke to the customers, helped us fill the trucks and unload them, then weighed the groceries and put them on the shelves.
Special appreciation goes to the North Stafford County Garrisonville Rotary, the Lions Club, and the 6-3 Network for stepping up to help once again.
Of course, we couldn't have had the success we did without the Giant Food stores allowing us to hold this event at their locations.
Our appreciation goes out to all who participated. Thank you so very much.
