Stafford authorities are hoping the public can help identify two young robbers who held up a county Rite Aid Wednesday night.
Sheriff's spokesman Bill Kennedy said the store at 1095 International Parkway off U.S. 17 was robbed at 9:10 p.m.
Kennedy said one suspect entered the store posing as a customer. Moments later, the second suspect came in, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.
The suspects left with money and other miscellaneous items from the store. A dark pickup truck was seen leaving the area.
Police said the suspects may have committed two similar robberies earlier in the evening in Fauquier County. All three robberies occurred within 90 minutes of each other.
Both suspects were described as white males 16 to 21 years old. The one who entered the Rite Aid first was between 5 feet 6 and 5 feet 8 inches tall and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black cap, jeans and black tennis shoes.
The second was several inches taller and was wearing a black ski mask with holes cut out around the eyes, nose and mouth. He was wearing an "Element" black hooded sweatshirt, white tennis shoes and a baseball cap with a green skull-type demon on the front. He was holding the gun in his left hand.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Stafford Sheriff's Office at 540/658-4400.

I have to wonder if there is any connection between these robberies and the murder of Jimmy LeRose last month.

So much for high tech video. All I've seen is a blurry photo of one walking in the store and another photo of a customer pointing at something behind the counter. Is that gun or a cell phone? Give us a close -up!
Small enough picture?

Really? Could you maybe make the picture any smaller, FLS?
