Robert D. "Bob" Renn of King George County, formerly of Burtonsville, Md., died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at his home following a courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Stephanie R. Renn; one daughter, Kelly R. Krause and her husband, Thomas W., of Laurel, Md.; one son, Jason D. Renn and his wife, Gitie, of Colonial Beach; one brother, Ray C. Renn of Burtonsville; three grandchildren, Emily, David and Jacob; one nephew, Christopher Renn; and many dear family and friends. He also is survived by three beloved cats, Zoe, Scooter and Squeaky.
A family visitation is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, King George. Further visitation and services will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home, 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, Md., with the visitation being from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, and the funeral set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Burtonsville.
