Mr. and Mrs. Gordon celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary
William (Billy) Gordon Jr. and Helen June Guy were married on Nov. 7, 1959, in Stafford County, Va. Billy and June were high-school sweethearts. They have three children: Pamela Payne and her husband, Kenny; Karen Martin and her husband, Ronnie; and William Gordon III and his wife, Tammy. They have five grandchildren: Jennifer Payne, Kristen Brown, Brandon Martin, and Noah and Taylor Gordon. They also have four great-grandchildren: Tyler Shelton, Brooklynn Tolson, and Kaleigh and Kelsey Brown. Billy retired from Alexandria Packaging and Supply Inc. and June retired from the federal government at Fort Belvoir, Va. Billy and June celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on a seven-day cruise to the Caribbean in April with many family members and friends. In addition, a dinner and dance is planned for Nov. 14, 2009, at the White Oak Fire Department in Stafford by their three children. (Surprise, Mom & Dad! We love you!)
