Fredericksburg-area governments announce meeting schedules

FREDERICKSBURG

The Economic Development Authority meets at noon Monday at City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St.

The City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.

The Planning Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall.

The City Council holds its planning retreat all day Friday in City Hall.

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY

The Board of Supervisors meets at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Holbert Building, 9104 Courthouse Road.

STAFFORD COUNTY

The School Board meets 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Bandy Complex.

The Architectural Review Board meets at 3 p.m. Monday in conference room A/B/C of the County Administration Building.

The Utilities Commission meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in conference room A/B/C of the Administration Building.

The Economic Development Authority meets at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the board chambers of the County Administration Building.

CAROLINE COUNTY

The Board of Supervisors meets at 6 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium of the Community Services Center. This is a change from the regular schedule.

ORANGE COUNTY

The Board of Supervisors meets at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Gordon Building, 112 West Main St., Orange. The board will adjourn at 5:30 p.m. for a joint work session with the School Board, then reconvene at 7 p.m. At 7:30 p.m., the Board of Supervisors will hold public hearings on a proffer modification and a rezoning request.

TOWN OF ORANGE

The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Monday in the Town of Orange Community Center, 235 Warren St., Orange. The commission is expected to vote on the TND-rezoning application for Uptown North Orange.

CULPEPER COUNTY

The School Board meets at 7 p.m. Monday at the County Administration Building, 302 N. Main St.

TOWN OF CULPEPER

The Town Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the County Administration Building.

WESTMORELAND

The Board of Supervisors meets at 9 a.m. tomorrow at the A.T. Johnson Alumni Museum, 18849 King's Highway, Montross. Among other business, the board will consider a request to increase this year's school budget by $149,000 because of a 30-student increase in school enrollment. At 1 p.m., the board decides a zoning case, then meets at 2 p.m. with the School Board to discuss roof repairs Washington & Lee High School.

COLONIAL BEACH

The School Board meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Town Center. Town Council representatives have been invited to discuss school-finance issues.

The Town Council meets at 7 p.m. Thursday at Town Center. It will hold a public hearing on proposed restrictions on beach activities.
