Army Cadet Artra T. Whitaker graduated from the Army ROTC Leader Training Course at Fort Knox, Ky. The daughter of Arthur and Trudi V. Whitaker of Stafford, she is a 2007 graduate of Stafford High School and attends Old Dominion University.

Army Cadet Arturo D. Harvey graduated from the Army ROTC Leader Development and Assessment Course at Fort Lewis, Wash. The son of Yvette S. and stepson of Peter J. Blake of Stafford, he is a 2006 graduate of Stafford High School and attends Virginia Military Institute.

Army Cadet Alexander J. Hudson graduated from the Army ROTC Leader Development and Assessment Course at Fort Lewis, Wash. He is the son of Clarence A. and Maria V. Hudson of Stafford.

Air Force Airman Julie A. Franklin graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. She is the daughter of Charles Franklin of Stafford and is a 2009 graduate of Faith Baptist School.
