Dorothy K. Simmons
Dorothy Kathleen Simmons, 72, of Locust Grove passed away at her home on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009. Born March 20, 1937, in Morristown, N.J., she was a career registered nurse. Survivors include her son, Edward A. Simmons; daughter-in-law LaShemma D. Simmons; grandson Edward C. Simmons; and her sisters, Francis, Shirley, Rachel and Emeline. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at The Lake of the Woods Church, Locust Grove. Following the service, a reception will be held at the church.
