Grandma Pat of Spotsylvania County passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009. She was born July 19, 1942, in Forrest Hill, Calif., to Archibald Bass and Winifred Nail Bass. Survivors include her son, Cole Brewer and his wife, Peggie; grandchildren Chris Brewer and Katie Brewer; her sisters, Jim, Biddy, Mikey and Timmie; and many nieces and nephews. Grandma Pat was simply fabulous to all who knew and loved her. Her wonderful sense of life and humor, and her out-loud laugh, will be greatly missed. An outdoor celebration of Grandma Pat's life will be held in the spring.
