Drug raid leads to nine arrests in Westmoreland, King George Date published: 11/20/2009
BY FRANK DELANO Nine people in Westmoreland and King George counties were arrested yesterday in an early morning raid that authorities said targeted drug dealers. Most of those arrested had been indicted by the Northern Neck Multi-Jurisdictional Grand Jury, said Westmoreland Sheriff's Maj. John L. Hoover. The 6 a.m. raid was conducted by the Tri-County Task Force, composed of eight area law-enforcement agencies. Hoover said five residences were searched, and additional arrests and charges are likely. Davon Gaston Hines, 18, of Colonial Beach was charged with two counts of distributing imitation crack cocaine. Candice Nicole Mills, 24, also of Colonial Beach, was charged with child abuse and neglect for allowing children to be present when drug dealing occurred, Hoover said. Aaron Early Holtzclaw, 26, of King George and Arlene Malave, 46, of Hague were both charged with possession of crack with intent to distribute. Others arrested and charged with various counts of distributing crack and conspiring to do so, were: Steven Bernard Dudley, 53, of Colonial Beach; Derrick Donnell Jones, 25, Colonial Beach; Bonnie Henry Smith, 60, Colonial Beach; Donald Wayne Turner, 31, Colonial Beach; and Marshall Christopher Wilson, 34, Oak Grove. The authorities think they accomplished something but in all reality did nothing. The arrested ppl that is not the source of the nonsense. They have a suspect whos charged only b/c her childrens father was not there to be arrested so not only did they take away the only parent doing for the children but they have also let the criminal get further away. The system is some crock some of them are actually trying to work but with pety charges and no jobs were they gonna work?? get jobs and more for the youth!
Beachbum, but blve me they didnt just get into the business either most of them have been selling drugs or involved in some other illegal activity since they were teenagers.
I agree that many peoples' addresses are CB even if they don't live within the town limits. I disagree, though, that CB is getting a bad rap b/c of this. CB already has a bad rap. Look at it! Terrible school system, shady cops, Board of Supervisors fighting, drug problems, gang problems, no entertainment............................
"Raids" (plural)????
#3) If CB has so much poverty, then who is building all these new mini-mansions in town?
OK, i'm finished griping for today. Thanks for giving me the chance to voice my opinion.
