Charles I. Price

Charles Irvin Price, 77, of Spotsylvania County died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at his home.

Mr. Price was a lifelong resident of Spotsylvania. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry.

Mr. Price was an avid NASCAR fan and a member of the Berkeley Hunt Club.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian C. Price; daughters, Lisa Eads and her husband, Terry, of Richmond, and Tammy LeForce and her fiance, Leroy Fox, of Spotsylvania; sister Mildred Newton and her husband, Everett, of Locust Grove; his grandchildren, Jennifer Eads, Melissa Eads, Ashley Renee Price and Lewis Irvin "T.J." Price; and many friends and supporters. Also surviving is his best dog, Scooter.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Services and interment will be private.

Memorial donations may be made to Bon Secours Hospice, 1822 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock, Va. 22560.
