Percy J. Smith
Percy J. Smith, 70, of Spotsylvania County passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at Mary Washington Hospital. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Woodford, and had retired as a truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Bernice V. Smith of the home; one daughter, Nadine Smith of Spotsylvania; two sons, Casey Smith of Spotsylvania and Franklin Smith of Caroline County; one sister, Mimie Gray of Caroline; and two brothers, Earl Smith and Herman Smith, both of Caroline. A viewing will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24, at A.L. Bennett & Son Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at Beulah Baptist Church, 5216 Arcadia Road.
