I am deeply troubled by the Nov. 5 tragic shooting at Fort Hood.
We should pause to honor the memory of those who were slain and pray for the wounded and the families of the deceased.
However, I feel it is also very important that we not impose recrimination upon our brothers and sisters of the Islamic faith.

The Muslims I know in the Fredericksburg area are devout and peace-loving people. As a Christian, I know they worship the same God that I worship, and they also trace their religion back to Abraham.
