HOLIDAY CLOSINGS

The following organizations' schedules will be affected by Thanksgiving Day:

GOVERNMENT

All city, state, and federal government offices will be closed tomorrow, including the Virginia Employment Commission and ABC stores.

TRASH SERVICE

All area landfills will be closed tomorrow. Trash and recycling pickup in Fredericksburg scheduled tomorrow will be held today instead. The Belman Road Recycling Center in the city, the Regional Landfill in Stafford, and the Livingston Landfill and convenience sites in Spotsylvania will be open their normal business hours today, Friday and Saturday.

LIBRARIES

All area libraries will be closed tomorrow. The Central Rappahannock Regional Library and the Culpeper and Orange libraries will close at 5 p.m. today, while the Caroline Library will close the same day at 3 p.m.. The Orange library will remain closed through Sunday, while the others will observe their regular weekend hours.

MAIL SERVICES

Post offices will be closed tomorrow. No delivery except Express Mail.

TRANSPORTATION

All area bus lines will be closed tomorrow. FREDericksburg Regional Transit will run a regular schedule on Friday except there will be no late runs around the college, while Virginia Railway Express and Quick's Bus Line will operate under abbreviated schedules Friday.
