STAFFORD COUNTY

Interstate 95

Monday-Thursday, 10 p.m.-4:30 a.m.; crews will be installing continuous traffic counters on Interstate 95 southbound just south of Exit 143 (State Route 610/Garrisonville). Two lanes will be closed in the work zone.

Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; motorists should be alert to crews working on the shoulder of I-95 southbound just south of Exit 143 (State Route 610/Garrisonville). Crews will be installing continuous traffic counters. No travel lanes will be closed.

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY

Interstate 95

Tuesday-Wednesday, 10 p.m.-5:30 a.m.; motorists traveling north on I-95 will be stopped periodically for not more than 15 minutes just south of Exit 126 (U.S. 1/Spotsylvania). Crews will be setting the beams for the new Spotsylvania Parkway bridge over I-95. Safety Service Patrol and Virginia State Police will assist with the traffic stops. In the event of rain, this work will take place Thursday night.

Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.; one lane will be closed to traffic on I-95 southbound just south of Exit 126 (U.S. 1/Spotsylvania) for construction of the new Spotsylvania Parkway bridge over I-95.

State Route 639 (Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue ongoing construction)

Motorists are reminded that all traffic has been shifted to the new lanes on Bragg Road between State Route 3 and the entrance to Central Park. The Bragg Road entrance to Giant remains open only to right turns in and out. This is an active work zone and motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment in this area.

KING GEORGE COUNTY

Harry Nice Bridge (U.S. 301

Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on the bridge. Crews will be installing a fog detection system on the bridge. In the event of high traffic volume on Monday, work will begin on Tuesday. Signs and/or flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone.
