Political correctness will destroy this nation

This spreading political correctness nonsense must be stopped. It has the potential to greatly damage this country.

Political correctness prevented the military from stopping Nidal Malik Hasan before he struck at Fort Hood, Texas. Evidence shows he was a radical Muslim intent on jihad.

With all the information the military had on Hasan, it failed to take any action against him for fear of insulting the nation of Islam. This political correctness caused the deaths of 13 individuals.

Already we are starting to see an assault on traditional Christmas because so-called progressives do not want to offend other religions.

We must put an end to this nonsense. Just say 'no' to political correctness.

Olivia, let me tell you (posted by leclare , Dec. 3, 2009 1:33 pm)    0 likes
about how I was threatened during the XMAS season because I was angry that anti-semites wanted to take down the creche showing that nice Jewish family (the boy hadn't converted to Catholicism yet). At least, I assume they were anti-semites; who else would want to see a Jewish family disappear except those lederhosen-wearers who sing "I wish you a merry Xmas and a Judenfrei jahr." The PCers threatened me for implying that the little boy was Jewish; I escaped a beating, luckily, by holding a cross before me.

Please read my post again re being chastised. I used that word in reference to the posters here who typically attack any posts related to religion and specifically Christianity since they do not have the gunyakis to attack Jews, Muslims or sun-worshippers. I have never been chastised in person since i am just a meek, skinny little guy and not worth picking on in person. ( I do pack a .45 auto and a .357 magnum, but they don't know that.)

Glad to hear that you haven't experienced this first hand. I, however, have. While volunteering for the Salvation Army when anyone approaches to give a donation I always thank them and express wishes for a Merry Christmas. A man (I won't say gentleman) walking by (not the person donating) approached me and told me in no uncertain terms to keep my religious beliefs to myself or the SA wouldn't see another dime from him. Just because you haven't witnessed this yourself doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Where and when did anyone "chastise" you for saying Merry Christmas? I don't believe it. This is just another issue the far right has created to make us Christians feel like we are being infringed upon and to rattle the cages of the conservatives. I say Merry Christmas to people I meet, in the grocery stores, etc. So far noone has "chastised" me. Most people smile and say Merry Christmas back.
