Harry Edward "Ed" Ott Sr., 70, of Louisa County passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at his home.
Mr. Ott was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Elmer and Josephine Hill Ott, and a stepfather, Darwin Portmess and his previous wife, Romona Page.
He was member of the Vienna Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Carolyn A. Ott; his son Ed Ott Jr. and wife Jean of Sterling; his daughter, Melissa Jacobs and husband Johnny of Maysville, N.C.; his stepson Butch Wall and wife Diane of Louisa; his brother John Ott and wife Jan of Paw Paw, W.Va.; his mother-in-law Daisy Goodnough of Louisa; his sister-in-law Joyce Baldwin and husband Larry of Denver, N.C.; three grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, one great-grandchild and seven step-great-grandchildren.
His remains rest at Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa, where family will receive freinds, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at Woodrow Church Cemetery in Morgan County, Paw Paw, W.Va.
