Frances O. Gaylord
Frances Olive Gaylord, 95, of Fredericksburg died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, at HeartFields Assisted Living, Fredericksburg. Mrs. Gaylord was preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin L. Hamilton; her second husband, Walter John Gaylord Sr.; and her parents, Merton Brown and Anna Richmond Brown. Survivors include her two sons, Lee Hamilton of Grayling, Mich., and Richard Hamilton of York, Pa.; three stepsons, Walter J. Gaylord Jr. of Stafford County, David Gaylord of Yucca Valley, Calif., and Jeffrey Gaylord of Denver, Colo.; her daughter, Anne Hamilton Kelley of Cincinnati, Ohio; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the HeartFields Chapel in HeartFields Assisted Living, with the Rev. Jack A. Marcom Jr. officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Quantico National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Medi Home Health & Hospice, 3302 Bourbon St., No. 2, Fredericksburg, Va. 22408-7311.
