Bob Burruss
Robert "Bob" Burruss, 77, of Ruther Glen departed this life Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at McGuire VA Hospital. He is survived by a son, Robert H. Burruss Jr.; three daughters, Zes Johnson, Francina Burruss and Rhoda Burruss Taylor; three sisters, Evelyn Anderson, Ernestine Burruss and Dr. Cheryl Burruss Renfroe; five brothers, Reginald, Raymond, Millard, Sherman and Ernest Burruss; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Remains rest with Owens Funeral Services, 104 Green Chimney Court, Ashland, Va. 23005. A funeral will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Second Baptist Church, 26725 Ruther Glen Road, Ruther Glen, with Dr. Arthur Wert officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
