Linann Brown
Linann Brown, 69, of Dahlgren passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at Mary Washington Hospital. Born in Tylertown, Miss., Linann was a data entry supervisor for a government contractor and a member of Oakland Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Robert McClain Brown of Newburg, Md., and Michael Brown of Dahlgren; three daughters, Melony Laine Brown and Ann Chester, both of Dahlgren, and Kathy Dalrymple of Middleburg, Fla.; a brother, George Shoemaker of Tylertown, Miss.; a sister, Patsy Brumfield of Tylertown; and eight grandchildren. Linann was predeceased by her husband, McClain Brown, and son Eugene Brown. A funeral will be held at A visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, King George.
