Harlene F. Ritenour

Harlene Fay Ritenour, 61, of Sumerduck passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 3, 1949, in Culpeper County, to the late John William Nicholson and Edna Daisy Sisk,

Harlene was part owner of a retail clothing store in Bealeton.

Surviving Harlene are her son, Greg Butler and his wife, Trisha, of Culpeper; longtime companion Mark E. Clark of Sumerduck; three sisters, Brenda Nasella of Madison County, Gail Nalls and her husband, Eddie, of Culpeper, and Lisa Wortman and her husband, Walter, of Lake of the Woods; grandson Eric Butler of Culpeper; and her special friend, Yvonne Bettis of Remington.

In addition to her parents, she was preced in death by two brothers, John "Wayne" Nicholson and Ronnie Nicholson.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, at Clore-English Funeral Home Chapel, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, with Pastor Randy Golladay conducting services. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time.
