John W. Woodward Jr.
John W. Woodward Jr., 77, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at his home in McLeansville, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Viola Woodward of McLeansville; daughters Cassie Washington of Tampa, Fla., and Michelle Askew of Fredericksburg; his brother, Harry Woodward of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, March 22, at the Quantico Marine Corps Base. The procession will begin at 8 a.m. at the Lassiter home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the Lassiter Home on Mine Road.
