BABY SLINGS CAN CAUSE SUFFOCATION

Infantino has recalled more than 1 million baby slings after claims linking them to three infant deaths.

Babies can suffocate in the soft fabric slings, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Consumers should stop using the recalled slings immediately and contact Infantino at 866/860-1361 or visit infantino.com to receive a free replacement product.

MOCK TURTLE SETS GRAND OPENING

The Mock Turtle, a children's clothing store at 810 Caroline St., will have its grand opening from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 1.

The shop is next door to Jabberwocky, a children's bookstore with the same owners.
