Musante, Lusczek earn all-state team recognition

Courtland's Bryan Musante and Chancellor's Jacob Lusczek were named to the Virginia High School Coaches Association's Group AA all-state boys soccer team.

Musante had six goals and 11 assists from his defensive position and scored the game-winner in Courtland's Region I playoff win over York.

Courtland's David Salazar, James Monroe's Hector Camacho and Chancellor's Frenklin Kokoneshi were second-team picks. Courtland's Mauricio Castro, Kyle Norton and Blake Tomaso and JM's Jamal Hines earned honorable mention.

Jamestown's Patrick O'Brien was named state player of the year, and Blacksburg's Shelley Blumenthal is coach of the year.
