Evelyn S. Embrey
Evelyn Sophia Embrey, 82, of Bealeton passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010, at the Virginia Baptist Home in Culpeper. Mrs. Embrey was born on June 23, 1928, in Clifton Forge to Frank and Sophia Nicely Peters. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Francis Embrey. Survivors include three sons, Wayne Embrey and his wife, Marie, Gary Embrey and his wife, Tara, and Dennis Embrey and his wife, Donna; one brother, Arthur Peters; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Home, Stafford Chapel, 186 Shelton Shop Road, where a service of remembrance will be conducted at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the Rockhill Baptist Church cemetery.
