SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY

Mount Olive Baptist Church, in Partlow, will celebrate its 144th Annual Homecoming Service tomorrow. Pastor Williams will preach the 11 a.m. service, and the Rev. Charles Wormley, pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church and his congregation will be guests. Revival services will run Tuesday through Thursday, at 7:30 p.m., On Tuesday, the Rev. Carson Jackson, pastor of Little Mine Road Baptist Church in Spotsylvania will be guest speaker. On Wednesday, the Rev. Kenneth Davis, pastor of St. Luke Baptist Church in Caroline County will be guest speaker. On Friday, the Rev. Craig Beasley, pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Chilesburg will be guest.

First Baptist Church of Love, 124 Bend Farm Road, will hold a "Fellowship on the Blacktop" three-on-three basketball tournament today at 9 a.m. for ages 7-18. Unity Church of Fredericksburg, 3607 Lafayette Blvd., will hold a Family Fun Festival today 4-7 p.m., with silent auction, games, moon bounce, crafts, raffles, prizes and more. At 7 p.m. the movie, "Avatar," will be shown. For details e-mail: UnityFamilyFest@gmail .com.

Eastland United Methodist Church, 10718 Courthouse Road, will hold their annual Back to School Family Fun Day event Aug. 7, 1 a.m.-2 p.m., with games, prizes raffles, food, school supplies, hair cuts and more. 540/898-6430.

Church of the Messiah, Episcopal, 12201 Spotswood Furnace Lane, will hold a special "Senior Saints" Celebration tomorrow after the 10:30 a.m. service to recognize those individuals in the church who are 80 years old or older and have served and continue to serve the church in various ministries. Father James Reed will recognize those individuals at each of the morning services. Refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall as part of the celebration.

Good Hope Baptist Church, 5601 Courthouse Road, will hold revival services tomorrow through Wednesday at 7 p.m. There will be special music nightly, with Bob Stone and the Virginia Gospel Singers on Sunday, Preston and Amy Ladd on Monday, Travelers Rest Church Choir on Tuesday and Jerusalem Ridge on Wednesday. 540/538-8900; goodhopebaptist churchva.org.
