Mountain View's Mason Stutler shot a 75 to earn medalist honors in a four-team golf tournament at the Gauntlet yesterday. Battlefield had the low team score with a 314, while North Stafford (352) and Stafford (436) rounded out the field.

The Wildcats will play a tri-match at Fawn Lake on Sept. 14. Stafford and North Stafford play in a tri-match at The Gauntlet on Sept. 9 against Massaponax.

Brent Gromer shot a 40 to pace the Chargers (4-2, 0-1) over their Battlefield District rival at Lee's Hill.

The teams will face off again next Thursday at Lee's Hill, with Courtland the home team.

Carl Munsee earned medalist honors with a 39 to lead Riverbend to a Commonwealth District win at Fawn Lake yesterday.

The Bears (3-1 dual matches) hosts Massaponax on Tuesday.

Visiting Fredericksburg Academy opened the season with a lose to Collegiate, the defending VISSA Division state champions.

Josh Brice and Elijah Sargent each scored their first career goals to help visiting Faith Baptist get a win yesterday.

Donnie Cornell also scored and goalie Stone Lewis made five saves for the Conquerors (1-0), who host Victory Baptist today.
