SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY

Rhema Christian Ministry, 8503 Indian Hills Court, Suite 402, will host the Evans-Smith Leadership Training Institute of the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Technology at Virginia Union University. FREDERICKSBURG

Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, 308 Hanover St., will begin the Alpha course on Thursday, at 6:30 p.m., featuring the basics of Christianity. Each session offers dinner, music, teaching time, small group discussion and free child care. The class meets weekly for 10 weeks. Free. STAFFORD COUNTY

Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church, 135 Chapel Green Road, will conclude revival tomorrow with a service at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Reginald Bryant and Mount Olive Baptist Church. Dinner will be served after the 11 a.m. worship service.

Foundation Christian Fellowship, 395 Garrisonville Road, will hold a Family Fun Day today, noon-3 p.m. with outdoor activities, free hot dogs, moon bounce, games, crafts. face painting and more. There will be an indoor Grand Opening Service from 5 to 7 p.m. 540/288-2009.

Shiloh Baptist Church (New Site), will have a guest preacher, the Rev. Edward Taylor from Bedford, for the 11:30 a.m. service tomorrow. The church will hold their Annual Homecoming Service tomorrow at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Leonard Lacey from United Faith Christian Ministry in Stafford. Revival services will be held Tuesday through Friday, beginning at 7:15 p.m. with devotions and service starting each night at 7:45 p.m. The guest pastor will be the Rev. Lacey.

Gospel of Deliverance Evangelistic Church will conduct services at Cosner Park tomorrow. Sunday school begins at 8:30 a.m. and worship service at 9:30 a.m. A "Back to School" cookout will follow.

REGIONAL

Temple of Deliverance HCG, 5756 Zachary Taylor Highway in Mineral, will hold Homecoming and Revival Services Monday through Friday, with Bishop Logan of Grace Redemption Bibleway speaking on Monday and Elder Ernest Wilford of Ebenezer Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Richmond speaking Tuesday through Friday. On Sept. 12, Pastor Lynn Beanum Jr will speak at the morning service and Bishop Ben Cannady of Tried Way of the Cross in Mineral will speak at the afternoon service.

GOSPEL SINGS/CONCERTS

Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, 19103 Brick Church Road, in Orange, will hold a gospel sing Friday featuring "Blood Connected" from Tar Heel, N.C., as guest singers. Dinner will be held at 6 p.m., followed by open stage, prayer requests and guest singers. A love offering will be received.
