Sean Walker scored three times in the fourth quarter to break open a tie game and give homestanding North Stafford a season-opening 27-7 win over Halifax County last night.
Marcus Morrast led all rushers with 106 yards on nine carries for the Wolverines (1-0), who finished with 288 yards on 42 carries.
Kevin Daniels opened the scoring for North Stafford, which visits Gar-Field next Friday.

Bubby Morgan threw four touchdown passes as the Wildcats won a nondistrict road game to improve to
Anthony Johnson caught three of Morgan's scoring passes, covering 5, 34 and 16 yards. Aaron Williams had the other. Morgan finished 10-for-19 for 192 yards.
The Wildcats visit Osbourn next Friday.

Stafford went up 13-0 at halftime but couldn't hang on against visiting Osbourn Park.
Quarterback Gaither Mason gave the Indians (0-1) the lead when he hit Deondre Butler on a 35-yard scoring strike in the first quarter. Jay Carson added the extra point to make it 7-0.
Darrian Johnson added a 5-yard run in the second quarter, but the extra point failed and Stafford lead 13-0 at the half.
The Yellow Jackets (1-0) rallied in the second half with 13 points in the third quarter and 14 in the fourth to come away with the win.
The Indians visit Potomac next Friday.
Garrett Diehl threw two touchdown passes to Darius Stanford and also ran for two scores to lead the Falcons to a non-district victory.
Larry Williams ran for two touchdowns for Culpeper (0-2).
