Ruth Kurtinitis Martin, 86, of Spotsylvania County passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at her residence.
She attended St. Matthew Catholic Church and was an avid bingo and card player and a Baltimore Orioles fan.
She is survived by two sons, Bob Kurtinitis of Spotsylvania and George Kurtinitis of Iowa; a daughter, Ruthann Shae of Maryland; a sister, Madelyn Francis of Maryland; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and beloved friend Chester Mikus.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, George Kurtinitis and Robert Martin, and a brother, Peter Zemaitis.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Matthew Catholic Church on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Dundalk, Md., on Wednesday, Sept. 8, at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to a charity of one's choice.
