BY CATHY JETT Spotsylvania County developer W.J. Vakos & Co. will be the subject of this month's Money Talk$ Web chat on fredericksburg.com. Bill Vakos III, president and chief operating officer of the company known for Southpoint and other projects, will be the guest for our monthly chat. It allows the public to ask questions on varying business-related topics. Vakos, 41, joined W.J. Vakos & Co. in 1991 after graduating from Old Dominion University with a degree in business administration. For the past 19 years, he has been involved in the leasing, marketing, planning, and development areas of its projects across Virginia. Vakos currently directs his company's Southpoint I and II and Spotsylvania Courthouse Village projects in Spotsylvania County, and contributes to its Richmond and Chesapeake projects. A 1987 graduate of Spotsylvania High, Vakos still loves his Spotsy Knights and serves his community in various ways including as a deacon at Spotswood Baptist Church and as a coach at Fredericksburg Christian Schools. He and his wife, Tricia, live in Spotsylvania and have two teenagers. Money Talk$ runs from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday on fredericksburg.com.
