Don't vote for this conservative!

Rep. Rob Wittman, a strong conservative, is in direct opposition to positions taken by Sens. Warner and Webb. If you agree with the senators and disagree with Rep. Witt-man, vote for Krystal Ball.

I am a proud liberal Democrat. I am 80 years of age and co-precinct captain of Summit Precinct in Spotsylvania County. I carefully track the voting positions of members of Congress.

Americans for Democratic Action evaluates the votes of members of Congress. In 2009, on 20 liberal issues, Sen. Warner scored 95 percent and Sen. Webb scored 100 percent. Rep. Wittman scored 5 percent.

Do you agree with the senators or the congressman? Krystal Ball, who spoke to the Spotsylvania Democratic Committee at state Sen. Edd Houck's house, sides with the senators.

I attended the town hall program by Gov. Bob McDonnell at the University of Mary Washington. He presented his conservative approach and was applauded by many in the audience.

One person thanked him for his position and said it's good that we have conservative people like the governor and Rep. Wittman. These conservatives are believers in supply-side trickle-down economics.

The League of Women Voters in Williamsburg will hold a debate among the candidates at 7 p.m. on Oct. 13 at the Williamsburg Library Theater. I hope it is televised so voters can better evaluate the candidates.

Few vote but many complain about the Congress. Please vote for Krystal Ball on Nov. 2.

David M. Hill

Thanks Mr. Hill (posted by Fredtastic , Sep. 8, 2010 4:25 pm)    0 likes
For providing moderates and conservatives with all the statistics they need. "In 2009, on 20 liberal issues, Sen. Warner scored 95 percent and Sen. Webb scored 100 percent. Rep. Wittman scored 5 percent." That alone should be all any voter needs to know when going to the polls this November. Let's not forget that our wonderful President was THE most liberal senator in 2007 according to The National Journal. Enough said. Vote for Rob this fall!

Mr. Hill, the only reason that we have 2 Dems in the Senate... (posted by bvandivert , Sep. 8, 2010 3:03 pm)    0 likes
Is because the entire state gets to vote for them, and Northern Virginia's dense liberal population tends to skew the votes towards the Dems. However, Krystal is running in a conservative district and the NOVA libs can't help her, other than offer money and moral support. People like Rob, he isn't in any scandals, and he'll win. Perhaps your energies would be best directed towards saving the ObamaMessiah in 2012. The race for the House is a done deal.

Why don't we just nominate (posted by soldat65 , Sep. 8, 2010 2:56 pm)    0 likes
some homeless people for congress...we know they'll work for food and wine. No sense in electing all these smart people who will steal us blind while we sit back and enjoy....
