FloAnn Wallace
FloAnn Coker Wallace, 75, beloved daughter of the late Lola Marie Coker and Floyd M. "Nappy" Coker, peacefully departed this life to be rejoined with our Lord Jesus Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010. Born Dec. 27, 1934, Flo lived her life full of love for her family and friends. She taught her children the love of God and music. Flo was a valued member of her community and worked as a Stafford County public schools bus driver for 17 years. She was also a devoted volunteer and served as an EMT and rescue chief for Widewater Fire and Rescue for many years. Her last several years were spent at Culpeper Health and Rehab Center, where she continued to enjoy bingo and time in the garden with her friends admiring the beauty of God's work. Flo was a loving mother, grandmother and friend, and will be truly missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ann Marie Beverly and her husband, Wayne, of Stafford County, John Coker of Hartwood and Christine Galyen and her husband, Jesse, also of Stafford; her four grandchildren and their spouses; and three great-grandchildren, who knew her as their loving "Mema." A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford, with the Rev. Renee Teague officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:30 p.m. until the service time. Memorials may be made in her name to the Autism Society of American-NoVa, 98 N. Washington St., Falls Church, Va. 22046. Online guest book at covenantfuneralservice.com.
