FREDERICKSBURG The City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in council chambers in City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St. A public hearing will be held on amending the city's code on tourism zones to include Central Park and Eagle Village, and on changes to incentive qualification standards for businesses in the downtown and Princess Anne Street tourism zone. The council meets at 5:30 p.m. in Room 214 at City Hall for a work session with the Economic Development Authority.

The Board of Supervisors meets at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Holbert Building on Courthouse Road

The Fire and Rescue Commission meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Holbert Building on Courthouse Road

STAFFORD COUNTY

The School Board meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Alvin York Bandy Administrative Complex. On Thursday at 7 p.m. at Brooke Point High School, the School Board will hold a public hearing on relocating students from elementary schools planned for renovations.

CAROLINE COUNTY

The School Board meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Caroline Middle School.

The Board of Supervisors meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the auditorium of the Community Services Center, just south of Bowling Green. There will be public hearings on the water extension to Caroline Pines and the expansion of the wastewater treatment plant. Resolutions will also be considered on construction of a new branch library in Dawn.

KING GEORGE COUNTY

The School Board meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the board room of the Revercomb Administration Center.

ORANGE COUNTY

The Board of Supervisors meets at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Gordon Building, 112 West Main St., Orange. The board will recess at 5:30 p.m. and reconvene at 7 p.m. The board will act on a request from the Piedmont Environmental Council to down-zone the Andrewsia property and amend the comprehensive plan's future land-use map to reflect the rezoning.

TOWN OF ORANGE

The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Monday in the town Community Center, 235 Warren St., Orange. The commission will discuss the draft zoning ordinance.
