Helen Hixon
Helen Agnes Rupar Hixon, 97, of Fredericksburg passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at her residence. She was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fredericksburg. She enjoyed swimming, gardening, reading and being a spectator of sports. She is survived by her daughter, Cecilia Joyce Hixon-Kimball of Fredericksburg. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Clarence, in 1992. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Quantico National Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her name to St. Francis Animal Hospital, 4624 Harrison Road, Fredericksburg, Va. 22408. Online condolences may be made at mullinsthompson
