The image of the baby Jesus as blue-eyed, blond, and very white is a direct contradiction of both religious and cultural history.
Jesus was a Jew, basically of dark, or at least darker, complexion than this depiction.
I realize that cultures of Christians in other parts of the world show Jesus in the form predominant in that culture so that they may better relate to it, but in our multicultural society, wouldn't it be better to be somewhat more accurate and show Jesus as what He actually was?
