Date published: 1/28/2012 Shawn Woodson II Shawn Michael Woodson II, (aka Shawn Michael, Mikey, Cotton and 101 Woodson), 16, of Spotsylvania County passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at Mary Washington Hospital. Shawn was a member of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff Cadet Program. He had a passion for security and protection, and also enjoyed fishing with his grandma. Shawn is survived by his parents, Shawn and Cindy Woodson; a brother, Joshua Woodson; his maternal grandfather, Rick Thornton; and his paternal grandparents, Brenda and George Woodson, all of Spotsylvania; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral will be held at In lieu of flowers, Shawn's family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
