SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY

The Board of Supervisors meets at 6 p.m., Tuesday for a budget work session in the board chambers of the Holbert Building at 9104 Courthouse Road. Supervisors are scheduled to decide on what tax rate to advertise for a public hearing.

STAFFORD COUNTY

The Board of Supervisors meets at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the board chambers of the County Administration Center, 1300 Courthouse Road. Public hearings begin at 7 p.m.

The School Board meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Alvin York Bandy Administrative Complex, 31 Stafford Ave. The board will discuss a resolution on the fiscal 2012 appropriation adjustment.

KING GEORGE COUNTY

The Board of Supervisors meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the board room of the Revercomb Administration Center.

The School Board meets at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the School Board offices. The board will have a work session on the next year's budget.

TOWN OF ORANGE

The Town Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Community Center, 235 Warren St., Orange. The council will discuss revisions of proposed transfer ordinances for water and sewer connections and consider an ordinance to place liens on properties for unpaid water and sewer charges.

GORDONSVILLE

The Town Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday in the Town Hall Council Chambers. The council will consider re-appointment to the Planning Commission and airport layout plan and will discuss a town polling place.
