Michael and Patricia Loew of Stafford County announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Michelle Loew, to Christopher Del Toro. He is the son of Carlos and Betty Del Toro of Stafford.

She is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington. He is working on a doctorate at George Washington University. They plan to marry Oct. 13, 2012, at Historic Kent Manor Inn on Kent Island, Md.
