Edith V. Hutt, 65, of Montross went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 20, 2012.

She was a retired schoolteacher for Westmoreland County schools and a former Westmoreland County School Board member.

She is survived by her husband, John C. Hutt Jr.; son J. Clifford Hutt III of Montross; daughters Gretchen Gerrard Hutt Brown (and Kevin) of Powhatan and Marlowe Brennan Hutt of Richmond; grandson Zachary Michael Hutt; and sister Mary Elizabeth Vansant Osborne (and Richard) of Radford.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 27, at Welch Funeral Home, Montross. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Nomini Grove.
