Catherine J. Johnson, 84, of Stafford County died Friday, May 4, 2012, at Mary Washington Hospital due to a stroke.
Catherine left on her journey to be with her beloved Sam on their 67th wedding anniversary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Talbot Johnson Jr.
Survivors include her sons, Allen F. Johnson and Barry Wayne Johnson and his wife, Helen; her daughter, Barbara Ann Johnson Bryant and her husband, Dale; her brother, Gordon Jenkins and his wife, Joy; her sisters, Carolyn Fincham and her husband, Lacy, and Mary Anna Hitt and her husband, Buster; her grandchildren, Beverly Reinharz, Cheryl Nicole Bryant, James Richard Bryant and Erica Lynn Paulus; and her great-grandchildren, Tabitha Paulus, Dakota Talbot Bryant, David James Bryant, Nathalie Joe Reinharz and Elliot Samuel Reinharz.
A service will be held at noon Wednesday, May 9, at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
