State police probing deadly Stafford crash

Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal car accident that happened early Sunday in Stafford County.

Sgt. F.L. Tyler said the accident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning, on Centreport Parkway. A single vehicle was involved. The driver, Jacob Allen Michael Blair, 20, of Stafford, who was the only occupant of the car, was killed.

Tyler said the vehicle--a 1998 Audi--was traveling east on Centreport Parkway, about half a mile from its intersection with Mountain View Road.

When the road curved left, the vehicle went off the road to the right, breaking a guardrail, overturning and striking a tree.

A passer-by came upon the accident afterward and alerted police.

Tyler said Trooper M.A. Oliver is investigating the accident.
