Charles "Bobby" Highlander Sr., 75, of Woodford died Friday, May 18, 2012, at his home.

Born in Berea, he was an Air Force veteran and had retired as a diesel mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Highlander; his daughter, Dawn Kulynych of Woodford; his son Bill Highlander of St. Stephens Church; three sisters, Patricia Smith, Norma Woodward and Linda Cummins; a brother, Jacky Highlander; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Chuck Highlander.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 21, at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, in the funeral home chapel, with burial to follow in Lakewood Cemetery.
