Tighten up corporate overseas profits

Mark Shields made some very good points in his May 21 op-ed titled "Profit over patriotism: Citizenship is not free."

Eduardo Saverin should be considered one of the lowest forms of life on the Earth, having accepted the protection of our great country and then thumbing his nose at it when it was time for him to pay back the favor.

Let us take it one step further. The idea of changing your citizenship to escape paying taxes is ludicrous, but what about the giant corporations that maintain their U.S. addresses and place their profits in foreign accounts so they don't pay taxes on them? Isn't that basically the same thing?

Make your opinions known. Talk to your elected officials in Washington. Tell them you want tighter control on corporate overseas profits.
