James Edward "Jimmy" Fladung, 21, of Fredericksburg passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012, in an automobile accident in Hambleton, W.Va.

Jimmy was a 2009 graduate of Riverbend High School and was a student at West Virginia University. He attended Spotswood Baptist Church.

Survivors include his aunt and uncle, Ralph and Bonnie Halford, with whom he made his home; his mother, Kathleen Hutchinson; his father, Glen Fladung and wife Gloria; paternal grandmother Linda Hummer; maternal grandparents James and Peggy Hutchinson; brothers Patrick Fladung, James Faircloth and Andrew Fravel; sisters Tina Brown, Crystal Lanham, Caitlin Fladung and Nikki Fravel; and many loving friends.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon, Thursday, June 21, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A funeral will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Fladung, Skyler King, J.C. Cooke, Britain Brown, Andrew Fravel and Kacey Seekford.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jimmy's name to the Salvation Army Fredericksburg Corps, Box 179, Fredericksburg, Va. 22404.
