Elinor Marge Melat, 95, of Midlothian died Saturday, June 9, 2012, at her residence.
Survivors include her son, Clint Messner and his wife, Pam; her daughters, Susan Darby and Careol Jeane Stedman and her husband, Ren; her brother, John O. Wagner; her grandchildren, Clint Stedman, Justin Stedman, Alex Dickey, Erin Melton, Morgan Messner, Matthew Messner and Tyler Messner; and her great-grandchildren, Tyler Stedman, Alex Stedman, Madison Stedman, Westin Steadman, McKenzie Melton, Ryan Melton, Hayley Messner and Bryce Messner.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 29, at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105; or Wounded Warrior Project, Box 758517, Topeka, Kan. 66675.
