Steve Stine, 65, of Lake of the Woods passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012.

He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Culley Stine; sisters Carol Swartz and Laura Mae Davis; brothers Harry Stine and Anthony Stine; and his companion of 13 years, Jane Davis, and her children Katelynn andTravis Davis. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and more friends than one could possibly count. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen F. Stine; his parents, Lorraine and McAdoo Stine; and his sister Peggy Ann Caldwell.

Steve was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving two tours in Vietnam on the USS Taylor from 1965 to 1969.

He had retired from Verizon in 1997 after 28 years.
