Retired Navy Lt. Cmdr. Rick D. Hostetler, 59, of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, June 22, 2012, at his residence, after a short battle with cancer.

He was a 26-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during the Vietnam and Gulf wars.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Domer-Hostetler; sons Jason Richard Hostetler and wife Katie and James David Hostetler and wife Elizabeth; daughter Keri Marie Perchalski and husband Steve; sister Debra Darlene Graber; and four grandchildren, Laurel, Reagan, Tristan and Cole.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eli and Betty Hostetler.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
