America in our blood

America in our blood

Over the past four years, we have seen one good reason the Constitution requires the president to be a natural-born citizen--namely, to ensure that they have America in their blood.

There are many cultures in the world that are completely diverse and incompatible with American culture. A child raised in any of those cultures in their formative years cannot be changed to understand and appreciate all the subtleties of American culture. Yet it is precisely those subtleties that make us the envy of the world.

If we have a president who is of a different culture, he would wreak havoc changing our culture into something as inferior as his. They innately believe their culture is superior. They can't help it.

But we need to ask ourselves the question: Why are Muslims coming to our country to reap the benefit of our higher standard of living, education, and technology, and at the same time working tirelessly to change our culture?

If their culture is so great, why are our benefits so much greater? We cannot afford to succumb to their blindness.

Did you know that George Washington was a natural-born citizen? He was born in Virginia into what would become the original American culture. It served the nation well to have him representing us during those critical years.

I hope for the next four years we can find a president who understands and appreciates the subtleties of what made America great.
