Mr. and Mrs. Ernest D. Lawson of Fredericksburg, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Farley of Longs, S.C., are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Dawn Marie Lawson and Kevin Matthew Farley.

Ms. Lawson received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Shenandoah University. She is the managing pharmacist for Rite Aid at the Ferry Farm location.

Mr. Farley is a graduate of Chancellor High School and studied at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is the inventory control coordinator at J.F. Fick Inc. in Fredericksburg.

A July 14 wedding is planned at the Hollywood Church of the Brethren in Stafford County.
