Bernard C. Freeman, 65, of Ruther Glen died Monday, July 9, 2012 at his residence. He retired from NSWC in 2009 after 30 years of service.

Mr. Freeman's survivors include his wife, Faye Freeman; son Kenneth Freeman; daughter Keisha Freeman; three sisters, Myrtle Fortune and Gloria Freeman, both of Ruther Glen, and Deloris Freeman of Washington, D.C.; and three brothers, Raymond Freeman of Doswell, Robert Freeman of Texas and Thomas Freeman of Ruther Glen.

Remains can be viewed Friday, July 13, from 12 to 4 p.m. at Cedell Brooks Funeral Home, and family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m at St. John Baptist Church, Milford.

The service will be at noon on Saturday, July 14, at the church, with the Rev. W.G. Berryman officiating. Interment will be in St. John Baptist Church cemetery.
